Sunglasses
UVEX Sports, the pioneer in ultraviolet (UV) protection sunglasses,
offers a full line of optically-correct eye protection for athletes

scratch-resistant material from Bayer Corporation that can withstand

Bicycle Helmets
UVEX Sports, an innovator in eyewear and helmets for amateur and
professional athletes, introduces a full line of bike helmets in a
wide price range for those serious about their bike riding. The helmets
range from the FP1, the lightest bike helmet on the market, worn by
eight cyclists during this year's Olympic Games in Athens, to a full-face
protection helmet and even two full-feature junior helmets for young
cycling enthusiasts.
All UVEX helmets are made of Makrolon, a high-tech material from
Bayer Corporation. UVEX helmets are also manufactured using inmold
technology. With inmold technology, the shock-absorbing, high-density
polystyrene (EPS) is directly foamed into the microshell, providing
greater stability, lighter weight and the ability for more ventilation
openings. The helmets also feature UVEX's Individual Adapting System
(IAS) with an adjusting knob that can be operated with just one hand,
guaranteeing a good, snug fit; monomatic chinstraps which can also
be operated with one hand, even while riding; and Bug Stop mesh fabric
covering the forward ventilation openings to protect against insects
getting into the helmet.

for goggles. UVEX ski goggles are helmet compatible and include features
like molded, hypo-allergenic face foam, active air scoop venting,
helmet outriggers and a selection of lenses designed to meet every
need and all weather conditions. The UVEX ski goggle line includes
spheric and polarized lens models, optic goggles to wear over glasses,
women's models specially designed for women's facial features, and
kids goggles.
Ski Helmets
UVEX ski helmets feature innovative technologies for superior performance.
Wind tunnel technology is CAD designed for optimum airflow by shape
and a multiple-graded spoiler. Makrolon from Bayer Corporation, combined
with inmold technology, provides ultimate protection that meets or exceeds
the EG-guideline standard 89/686/EWG for personal protection equipment
4.1 category 2 and the European standard EN 1077, TUEV certified. The
adjustable hearing system is included (except for Basic) with inserted
chin strap system and integrated monomatic closure (except Wing S Chrome).
Inner helmet shell is made of shock absorbing EPS. The material of the
inner parts around the ears is kind to the skin, sweat absorbing, and
anatomically shaped.
